THE POP EXPOSE ‘The Regrettes ‘ by Mitchell Smith!

The Regrettes are an American punk band from LA. I heard them on the radio the other night when they played their cover song “A Teenager in Love”, originally by Dion and the Belmonts in 1959, this song has been covered by many bands such as Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Marley, and the Mutations from the Muppet Show.

The Regrettes had a nice sound to this remake with lead singer Lydia Night, lead guitar Genessa Gariano, bass guitar Sage Chavis, and drummer Drew Thompson, so I checked out some of there other stuff, they have a nice sound and Lydia looks sweet and innocent but she really has a nice hard voice. Definitely a band worth checking out if you haven’t already. Be sure and check out the video below then MAKE THE JUMP to the forums and let us know what you think!

This band seems extremely fake to me. Whether they’re trying to be punk or pop, it all sounds and feels like someone pretending to be something they’re not.

    1. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on them. It is good to hear different opinions.
